Do I have to have treatment after a consultation?

No. A consultation is advice, not a commitment. Many people leave with a skincare plan, or simply more information. We’d rather you didn’t have a treatment than have one you’re unsure about.

Why do you charge for consultations?

A proper consultation takes 30–45 minutes of a doctor’s or nurse’s time. The £50 fee (example pricing) is redeemable against any treatment booked within 3 months. A first video conversation is free.

Can I book a prescription treatment online?

No. Prescription-only medicines for cosmetic use should only be prescribed after a face-to-face consultation with the prescriber, in line with professional guidance for doctors and nurses. You can book the consultation online. The prescribing decision is made in person.

Why don’t you list prices for wrinkle treatments?

UK advertising rules (the CAP Code, enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority) don’t allow prescription-only medicines to be advertised or priced to the public. They also aren’t a product to choose from a menu. We give you a written, itemised quote at your consultation, before you decide anything.

What is the cooling-off period?

We leave at least 14 days between a first consultation and any injectable treatment, and at least 48 hours for skin treatments such as peels. It gives you time to read your plan, ask questions and change your mind at no cost. Separately, skin plans carry a 14-day cancellation right from sign-up. Plan your dates

Is there an age limit?

Yes, 18. Since 2021 it has been illegal in England to give cosmetic injectables or fillers to anyone under 18. Our clinic sees adults only for all treatments, and we ask for photo ID at your first visit.

Can I have treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We postpone injectables, lasers and most peels during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We’re happy to give gentle, pregnancy-safe skincare advice in the meantime.

Do you show before-and-after photos?

No. A single before-and-after can’t show what’s typical, and it can’t predict your result. We talk through realistic outcomes at your consultation and, with your consent, photograph your own skin so we can review your progress honestly together.

How long do results last?

It depends on the treatment and on you: your skin, age, lifestyle and sun exposure all play a part. Most non-surgical results are temporary and need maintenance. Your clinician will give you an honest range for your situation. No reputable clinic can guarantee results.

Is laser safe for darker skin tones?

Some lasers can cause pigment changes in skin that tans easily, so settings and device choice matter a great deal. We always patch test first. For some concerns, we’ll recommend a peel, microneedling or medical skincare instead.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Complications are uncommon, but we plan for them. Our clinicians are trained in recognised complication protocols, we keep emergency medicines and equipment on site, and every treated patient has our 24-hour clinical line. We follow the duty of candour: if something goes wrong, we’ll tell you, apologise and explain what we’re doing about it.

What if I’m unhappy with my result?

Tell us. Your two-week review is included so we can assess your result together. If you’d like to make a complaint, see our complaints process below. You can also contact your clinician’s professional regulator.

Is the clinic regulated?

Our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council and our nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. They must follow their professional standards for cosmetic practice. The government is developing a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures in England, and we intend to meet it in full. Registration numbers on this site are examples.

Do you offer finance?

No. We don’t offer credit. Skin plans are a monthly service subscription for non-prescription treatments, with a 14-day cancellation right.

What’s your cancellation policy for appointments?

Please give us 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the consultation fee.

Can I bring someone, or have a chaperone or interpreter?

Yes to all three. You’re welcome to bring a friend or relative, and we can arrange a chaperone or a professional interpreter if you let us know when booking.
