Draft for solicitor review — not yet in force

Part 1 · Creator Terms

  1. 1. Joining

Joining Orderhatch Creators is free. You must be 18 or over. You're self-employed, not employed by Orderhatch, and you're responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.

  2. 2. Your profile

We check every profile before it's listed. You agree we can show your display name, photo, area, topics, stats, rates and the covers and numbers of your checked best work to businesses that have signed in, your handles and links to a business once it has booked you through us, and an anonymous summary (no name, photo or handles) to everyone. We never share your phone number or email. Your numbers must be accurate, and you'll share your account insights when we ask.

  3. 3. Introductions

When a business asks to work with you, we contact you with the details first. You can say no to anything. If you say yes, you'll visit at the agreed time and post what was agreed, on the agreed platform, within 7 days of the visit, tagging the business and using any code or link it gives you.

  4. 4. Payment

For now, Orderhatch doesn't take or hold any money. We agree the fee or gifted visit with you and the business before anything is booked, and tell you how and when you'll be paid. You keep your full rate.

  5. 5. Labelling posts as ads

Every post made through Orderhatch, paid or gifted, must be clearly labelled as an ad, at the start of the caption or in the first frame, following the ASA and CMA rules. Add the link to your post from your dashboard and we'll check it. Only bookings we've checked count towards the bookings shown on your profile.

  6. 6. Honest content

Businesses pay for a visit and a post, not a good review. If you have a genuinely bad experience, tell us privately before posting. You won't have to post, and we'll sort things out with the business.

  7. 7. Alcohol

For pubs and bars, anyone shown drinking alcohol must be, and look, 25 or over. Don't accept those bookings if that rules you out.

  8. 8. Using your content

The business may reshare your post and use it on its own website and social pages for 12 months. Using your video in paid ads needs your written agreement.

  9. 9. Cancelling

Give at least 24 hours' notice if you can't make a booking. Missing a booking without notice, or a second unlabelled post, means we may remove you.

  10. 10. Work with businesses you meet through us

For 12 months after we first introduce you to a business, please arrange any paid or gifted work with that business through Orderhatch.

  11. 11. Your data

We use your details to run your profile and introductions, as our privacy policy explains. We only pass your details to Gradia if you ticked the separate box. You can leave and ask us to delete your details at any time.

  12. 12. Changes

We may update these terms while Orderhatch Creators is new. We'll email you first, and you can leave if you don't agree.

Part 2 · Business Terms

  1. 1. Your account

A business account is free. It shows each listed creator's name, photo, area, checked numbers, rates and best work. You can ask us to introduce you to any creator, and you'll see a creator's handles and links once you've booked them through us.

  2. 2. Introductions

We check the creator's availability and agree the details with you both. For now, Orderhatch doesn't take or hold any money: we agree the fee or gifted visit with you before anything is booked.

  3. 3. Labelling posts as ads

Every post must be labelled as an ad, including gifted ones. You won't ask a creator to leave the label off. This is the law, and it protects your business as well as the creator.

  4. 4. Honest content

You're paying for a visit and a post, not a positive review. If a creator has a genuinely bad experience, they'll tell us privately and won't post. After a booking you can rate it privately: only we see ratings, and we never publish them.

  5. 5. Alcohol

Bookings that show alcohol need creators who are 25 or over. Tell us if your booking involves alcohol.

  6. 6. Using the content

You may reshare the post and use it on your own website and social pages for 12 months. Using it in paid ads needs the creator's written agreement.

  7. 7. Working with creators you find here

For 12 months after we introduce you to a creator, arrange any work with them through Orderhatch.

  8. 8. Your data

We only share your business name and social handle with a creator once something is agreed, and never your phone number or email.

  9. 9. Liability

Creators are independent, not Orderhatch staff. We check their profiles and numbers, but we can't guarantee views, sales or what a creator says.

  10. 10. Changes

We may update these terms while Orderhatch Creators is new. We'll email you first, and you can close your account if you don't agree.
