About
Hello, I'm Devon. I make websites that make businesses the obvious choice.
Orderhatch is a small studio in Southfields, London. I design, build and look after websites, AI tools and marketing for businesses across the UK, from local firms to groups with several locations. When you message Orderhatch, you get me.
How it works
Clear at every step.
From your first message to a site that's live and looked after, usually in about two weeks.
- Step 1:
A short brief
Tell me what you need on the quote form, a project brief or WhatsApp. I reply within one working day.
- Step 2:
A written proposal
What's included, the timeline and a fixed price, on a private page you can save as a PDF and accept online.
- Step 3:
Your project page
A private page with progress, what I need from you and your preview link. First delivery in about a week.
- Step 4:
Two rounds of changes
From the first delivery, checked on your own phone. Then your domain is connected and it goes live.
- Step 5:
Looked after
An optional monthly plan: hosting, security, changes and a short monthly report on how the site is doing.
Running something bigger? How I run larger projects
What you can count on
The way I work.
- One person, start to finish
- The person you talk to is the person who designs and builds your site. No account managers, no hand-offs.
- A fixed price, agreed first
- In writing before any work starts. Anything outside the scope is quoted before it's done.
- You own everything
- The domain, the content and the finished site are yours, with logins handed over.
- Fast and accessible
- Built to work quickly on a phone and to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard.
- Straight answers
- If something isn't a good fit, I'll say so. If a job needs a specialist, I'll bring one in and tell you.
- Messages, not calls
- WhatsApp and email, with a reply within one working day. For larger projects, a video meeting whenever it helps.
Read the accessibility statement for how sites are built and tested.
The work
No two alike.
Concept sites designed for made-up businesses, so you can see the range before I design yours.
Tell me about your business.
