Set up for you

About an hour of your time. We do the rest.

You can still change prices, mark items sold out and pause orders yourself whenever you like.

  1. Step 1: Tell us about your shop

Fill in the quote form or send us a message. It takes two minutes.

  2. Step 2: Connect Stripe

One button on your phone. Use your existing Stripe account or make one. Payments go straight to you.

  3. Step 3: We add your menu

Items, prices, photos, sizes, extras and allergens, from your menu and allergen sheet. You check it.

  4. Step 4: Go live

On your website, and as a link for Instagram and Google. We show your staff the kitchen screen.

The kitchen bell

No order gets missed. Nobody turns up to no food.

A paid order nobody saw is the worst thing that can happen to a takeaway. So Orderhatch keeps on until a person in your kitchen says yes.

It rings until someone answers

The order screen keeps sounding until someone taps accept. If nobody does, it gets louder and sends a backup.

  1. Order paid. Screen rings. Email sent to the shop.
  2. Still not accepted: screen escalates, second email goes out.
  3. Still nothing: a text goes to the shop, and we're alerted too.
  4. Someone taps accept and the ringing stops. Placed, accepted, ready and collected times are all logged.

Honest collection times

You choose how many orders the kitchen can handle in each slot. When a slot is full, customers get the next one. It never promises a time you can't make.

Bad Wi-Fi in the kitchen? The screen reconnects and picks up every order it missed.

For your customers

Your shop, your brand, no app to download.

  • No account neededCustomers order with an email and phone number. Making people sign up is the quickest way to lose an order.
  • Your logo, banner and coloursIt looks like your shop because it is your shop. Link it from Instagram, Google or your own website.
  • Card, Apple Pay and Google PayThe price on the menu is the price they pay. Nothing gets added at checkout.
  • Allergens on every itemThe law says customers must see allergen information before they order. Your menu can't go live until every item has it.
  • A text when it's readyYou tap ready and the customer is told. No more crowding at the counter.

An example100 collection orders a week at £25. A marketplace at 14–30% commission takes £350 to £750 a week. With Orderhatch you pay £30 a month, plus Stripe's card fee on each order, which goes to Stripe, not us.

Questions shops ask

The small print, in plain English.

Do you take a cut of my orders?

No. You pay £30 a month and that's it. We never touch your money: customers pay you through your own Stripe account, and we bill our subscription separately.

So what does Stripe charge?

Stripe charges its normal card fee on each payment, from 1.5% + 20p on standard UK cards. That goes to Stripe, not to us. You'd pay a card fee on any till or card machine too.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

No. Add an “Order online” button to your current site, your Instagram bio and your Google listing. They all point to your Orderhatch page.

What if the kitchen misses an order?

The screen keeps ringing until someone accepts. If nobody does, it escalates, sends a second email and a text to the shop, and alerts us too.

Do you do delivery?

No. Orderhatch is click and collect only, so there are no drivers, delivery fees or cold food.

Who owns my customer list?

You do. We hold it on your behalf under a data processing agreement. You can export it whenever you like, and we delete it if you leave.

I run more than one shop. How does that work?

Each location is £30 a month and gets its own ordering page, kitchen screen, opening hours and collection slots, paid into whichever Stripe account you choose. Tell us how many locations you have and we'll set each one up. Talk to us if you have five or more.

Is there a contract?

No. It's month to month by Direct Debit with 30 days' notice and no cancellation fees, and you keep your data.
