Mara Big Cat Season

Eight nights in Mara North Conservancy at the height of the dry season. Off-road access, night drives and a camp on the Olare Orok, between the Enkoyanai and Acacia prides and the five-strong cheetah coalition.

02Botswana · June

Okavango Water & Wild Dog

Seven nights split between Khwai and a private concession on the edge of Moremi, timed for the flood's peak and the start of denning. Mornings with a known pack; afternoons low on the water from a mokoro, lens a foot above the lilies.

Zimanga Hides

Six nights on a private reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal built entirely around photographic hides. Autumn light, clear skies and the birds still in full colour. We take the hides exclusively, including the lit overnight hide for elephant and hyena.

  • Two sunken waterline hides, one reflection pool
  • Bird-bath hide for bee-eaters, rollers and shrikes
  • One overnight in the lit Umgodi hide

Lower Zambezi River & Leopard

Seven nights at a twelve-tent river camp opposite Mana Pools. Late-dry-season heat haze, elephants crossing channels at sunset, and some of the most relaxed leopards in Zambia, photographed on licensed night drives under our own red-filtered lamps.

Gorillas & Golden Monkeys

Six nights at the foot of the Virungas in the short dry season. Three gorilla permits, one golden monkey trek, and a technique day on forest exposure before the first climb, because one hour with a family is not the time to learn your ISO ceiling.

“Available” means three or more seats. Waitlist places are offered in order, usually 90 days before departure when balances fall due. Private departures for a group of four to six can be arranged outside these dates.
