Eleanor Hartigan spent fifteen years writing about architecture. Thomas Lisle spent as long selling houses in Knightsbridge. In 2009 they opened a small office off Kensington Church Street with a simple idea: that a house sells best when someone has taken the trouble to understand it.

So every home we take on is read before it is sold. We research the street and the architect, walk the rooms at different hours and write about what we find. Then we photograph it in daylight, film it quietly and print a brochure worth keeping. The result is the Lisle Card: one page, every fact a buyer needs, set in plain type and handed over at every viewing.

We limit ourselves to about forty instructions a year so that the partner who values a home is the one who sells it. Our lettings and property management team looks after a further 180 homes, and our International Desk works with partner agencies in Paris, Monaco and Dubai Hills.
