Surinder’s home cooking on one steel tray: a dal, a sabzi, a curry, rice, roti, raita, pickle and something sweet. It changes every week on a six-week cycle.
Malhi’s opened as a forty-cover tandoori on Brunswick Parade. The children grew up doing homework at table nine. When they took over in 2019 they kept the numbers, the charcoal and the recipes, and fixed the rest: their own ordering with no app commission, allergens on every dish, and halal chicken and lamb stated plainly.

“We’ve ordered number fifteen every Friday for twenty years. The new ordering page actually tells my son what’s in it.”
“Booked the banquet for my dad’s seventieth, twenty-two of us. They had the vegetarian dishes sorted before I asked.”
“The Sunday thali is the best twenty quid in N11. Different every week, and the kheer is the real thing.”
Collection and delivery run during the same hours, last orders 30 minutes before closing. Delivery starts at 5:30pm.
