Questions

Good to know.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly. Some insurers ask for a GP referral before they authorise treatment, so check with yours.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and your goals. Your physio will give you an honest estimate at the end of your first appointment and review it as you go. Many people need between three and six sessions.

What's your cancellation policy?

Please give us 24 hours' notice to move or cancel. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged in full, because someone else could have had that slot.

Do you treat young people?

Yes, from age 12, with a parent or guardian present for under-16s. Tobi and Hannah see a lot of young athletes.

Can I see a physio by video?

Follow-ups can be done by video once you've had a face-to-face initial assessment. They're useful for progressing your programme when you can't get in.

What if physio isn't right for me?

We'll tell you. If you need a scan, a doctor or a specialist, we'll explain why and write to your GP or refer you on.
