Privacy, terms and the small print.
Plain-English versions of the things a clinic group has to tell you. Example text for a fictional business.
Concept notice. Ostrey Health is a fictional business created by Orderhatch as a design concept. It is not a healthcare provider, is not registered with the Care Quality Commission or any other regulator, and cannot see or treat patients. People, addresses, prices, insurers and availability are invented. Telephone numbers are from Ofcom’s drama ranges. Photographs are licensed stock from Unsplash and show models.
Privacy notice
On a live site, this section would explain who controls your data (the clinic group), what we collect (contact details, health information you share, payment and insurance details), why (to provide care, to bill you or your insurer, and to meet our legal duties), how long we keep it (in line with NHS records retention guidance), and your rights under UK GDPR, including access, correction and complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
In this concept, nothing you type into the booking or contact forms leaves your browser. The booking flow keeps your choices in this tab only, and clears them when you confirm.
Cookies
This concept sets no cookies and uses no analytics. A live site would list strictly necessary cookies, and ask before setting any others.
Terms of booking
Self-pay appointments are paid at booking. You can cancel or move an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Later cancellations, or missed appointments, are charged at half the appointment price.
If you are using insurance, you are responsible for getting a pre-authorisation code and for any excess or amount your insurer does not pay. We will always tell you before an appointment if we expect a shortfall.
Complaints
Tell any member of the team, call patient services, or write to us. We acknowledge every complaint within two working days and aim to reply in full within 20 working days. If you are not happy with our reply, a live site would explain how to take it to the independent adjudication service for private healthcare.
Accessibility
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: every page works with a keyboard, focus is always visible, colour is never the only way information is shown, text meets contrast guidelines, and images have text alternatives. Clinic opening status is always written in words.
Every Ostrey clinic is step-free. Details for each clinic, including lifts, accessible toilets and hearing loops, are on its clinic page.
