Marta grew up rolling pasta at her aunt’s trattoria outside Bologna. Gianni spent ten years running dining rooms across London. In 2019 they took over a corner on Lamb Yard, painted it the colour of a lemon, and put the pasta bench where everyone can see it.
Seven years on, the bench is still the first thing that comes to life in the morning. On the first Saturday of the month we open it up for a pasta morning: two hours, six shapes, then lunch.
